  21. I just finished Gone! It was a good book with tons of action and suspense. I do agree with you Bailey though I am not really into the mutated animals. However I did hear from Veronica S. that Hunger the second book in the series is better than Gone and Unwind, so I will definitely try it. I just started Matched last night. After Matched I think I might try 13 Reasons Why. Through blogs, conferencing, and book talks I heard it was a good book. Keep the suggestions and opinions coming. They really do help when it comes to finding another book.

Adam I know Alec likes that series too.

I am glad you are enjoying the Hardy Boys series Billy. My brothers used to read them when they were younger. I remember seeing all the blue covered books on their shelves.

  32. I just finished two books this weekend. I finished Matched which was good. It reminded me of a mixture between Hunger Games and The Giver. Then I read Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher. I could not put this book down. It is a very mature book because it deals with suicide. It is about a girl who commits suicide than leave tapes behind to explain which people or situations led her to make this decision. She wants each person on the tapes to listen to them and then pass them on to the next person. It was quite moving and a little disturbing. However it really made me think how one person's actions or words (great or small) can affect someone else. Even when we think it was not a big deal someone else can think differently. I would say this book is for a mature reader, but the message is important for all kids to know. So if you are not ready to read it this year I would keep it on your wish list to read in a couple years.

Cassie, I think Unwind and Gone are very different even if they fall under the science fiction genre. Gone has a lot of action taking place at all times. I personally enjoyed Unwind better but I am going to read the next book in the Gone series, Hunger. Let me know what you think after reading it. I think you would like Matched too.

Dev I really like the book Among the Hidden too. I never got to read the next book of the series though. Let me know how it goes.

  33. Just finished Matched... it was SO good! As far as I know, it is on the shelf right now, and I highly recommend it to girls only, because of the love story. It has a cliffhanger at the end, and the second installment in the trilogy doesn't come out until November. Once again, I loved it! You should read it.
