  9. I love the book the short second life of bree tanner(: its amazing, if you liked the twilight series you will love this! It is a book that goes along with Eclipse, in the Twilight series. I suggest you read this if you really got into the twilight series, or you like any of the books Stephanie Meyer wrote(: She surprises you a lot in her book, in the beginning it doesn't really go along with eclipse, but in the end and middle it does, and it will make more sense.

  11. I am reading "Walk Two Moons" and so far it is a really good book. It's about a girl whose mother had left her and her and her grandparents go to see her. On the way she entertains them with stories about her friend Phoebe. You have to read the book to find out all of the amazing adventures.

Its abouta girl names Ivy who belives in angles and her boyfriend dies. Someone is trying to hurt her and she doesnt know it and she doesnt know who. But her boyfriend, Tristan, gets an idea of who it could be. Its a sad book but its also a great one. I am really enjoying it and im almost done with it! yay!!! ;D

  17. I'm reading Cross My Heart Hope to Spy by Ally Carter. She is a very good author because she makes you feel like you're a character in the books and is very good at writing from a teenager's view, so you know what's going on. The book is the second in the series, and it's about this spy school for really smart girls, but when the boys from a different school move in, then everything changes. It's very exciting, so please read it!

    ReplyDelete
  26. I am currently reading a book called Unwind! It is really good. Parents can decide to "unwound" their child from ages 13 to 18. If they get unwound then all their body parts go to other people so they in a sense live on in others. This story is about three children who are sent to be unwound but they escape. They begin their own journey. That is where I am at in the book. The story takes place in the future where laws are different. It has been very interesting.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Has anyone ever read Arrmagedon Summer??? Mrs. Cobetto told us about it last term and said it was really good, but I haven't seen it anywhere. Oh, and now I really want to read Gone, Ms. Waple. Too bad all you TEACHERS bought it before us kids could even look at it. ;p I guess I'll just have to be the first one to read it after you. :)

  34. I just read a memoir called Look Me in The Eye (John Elder Robinson). It is by a man with Aspergers' syndrome (a type of autism) and he grew up not knowing what was so different about him because they hadn't discovered Aspergers' yet. It was really interesting because he was diagnosed at 40. People should read it if they want to try a non-fiction book. I liked it, and I HATE non-fiction books! Hope you like it!

    ReplyDelete
  35. Yeah Darrian you should read Harry Potter. It's really good, but the beginnings are kind of boring.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Im reading The Summoning. This girl sees ghots, freaks out then gets locked up in a home for troubled teens. So far she is finding out more about this home than anyother tenn in the house. If this helps any i dont like storys about ghots but i like this one!Well i dont like reading at all but tht is not the point.(:

  37. I love Sarah Dessen. All of her books are good (:

    ReplyDelete
  38. I've been home sick all day:'( It stinks! But I have been reading more of the Westing Game. It's getting really good. It's just really confusing because there are so many characters. It can get hard to keep up. But it's still really good.

  39. Hope you feel better soon Nina!!! FYI - they just ordered ten more copies of Gone for the Book Fair. However you better act quickly before I get my hands on them...lol. Also Lucy, Mrs. Deneroff was telling me she heard John Elder Robinson give an interview on NPR (National Public Radio). You could probably look it up. She said he was an outstanding speaker.

It really inspired me to become a better person because of the main character's friend, Owen. This book is kinda related to music in a way where it helps people get through their problems. I reccomend this book to girls that like music:D

    ReplyDelete

  53. I just finished the book "Unwind" and it was fantastic. It was so well written that I even had to put the book down a few times because it made me feel like I was there and I was uncomfortable. I think boys and girls would love this book. Mrs. Smith is finishing my copy then I will put it on the shelf. I just started the book "Gone" on my Kindle, so I will let anyone who wants to read my copy of "Gone" have it. It will go to the first person who asks either on here or in class. Hope everyone had a fantastic weekend!!! :)

  58. I am in the middle of reading The Battle of the Labrinth: In the Percy Jackson series. I haven't finished the book, but would recomend it to ANYONE who likes action, twists, action, comedy, action, mysteries, mazes that drive you MAD, and tons of AAACCCTTTIIOOONNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  59. I just finished Catching Fire. It was a really good book with a twist at every corner. I can't wait to read the final book.

    ReplyDelete
  60. I am reading Gone, by Michael Grant...and it is pretty good so far. I'm on page 95, and I started it right after school around 4. I stopped around 6:30 pm. I really like how they get right into the book, like no fooling around(:, Sam (boy), Astrid (girl), and Quinn (boy) are the main characters. They live in like a really small town in California (I think it's CA...), and all people 15 and over just disappear. Like seriously they're there one second and the next second POOF! Gone! All the kids 0-14 years old are forced to fend for themselves in their small town. Sam is known as the hero for a reason explained in the book, so everyone looks up to him.

This is a trilogy series, and I think everyone should read it because it has a TON of cliffhangers. Like American Chillers and Michigan Chillers, it's a cliffhanger at the end of every chapter. If you want to know more, you can ask me (I might not be much help because I'm not that far in), but you can ask Mrs. Ladley who has already finished the book. She's really good at explaining :)

  64. I finished the "I,Q" series. It was a very good series. It is about two kids(step brother and sister)who's parent's just got married, and are going on tour because they are famous singers. But, while the parents are out singing, the kids are hanging out with old C.I.A. agents, and eventually get to go to the white house... to meet the president. It is action packed and full of suspense. I really recommend reading it!
